Healthcare professionals gathered for the first regional training session on remote diagnostic devices, marking a milestone in Sardinia’s national telemedicine rollout under Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The hands-on workshop demonstrated how nurses and community health teams can use portable, connected medical devices to monitor patients directly in their homes and community health facilities — enabling remote physician oversight without transporting fragile patients.
