Temperature exam

Follow below steps to perform the exam:

1. Connect the thermometer module.
2. Remove hair from patient’s forehead and temple.
3. Click “START”.
4. Place the module on the forehead and swipe right or left up to the tip of the ear – make sure you scan the temporal artery and keep contact with the skin during the whole examination.
5. The exam will end automatically after 5 seconds.

Remember about below hints:

• You can scan either left or right temple or both during one exam.
• Do not perform the exam after taking a shower or bath, exercising or coming from very cold or warm place.

Avoid the most common mistakes:

• Not keeping contact with the skin – it is hard to keep the same distance from the skin in order to ensure reliable results.
• Not moving the sensor but keeping it only in the middle of the forehead.
• Moving the sensor too slowly.
• Putting too much pressure against the skin.
